In association with Unst Inshore Services we have designed a range of RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) styled vessels as part of their Flugga Boats range. At present 6 and 7.7 metre models have been launched with 7 & 9.5 metre designs to be added soon. These are manufactured in marine grade aluminium and feature a patented curved hard collar manufactured from high density polyethylene pipe.

The requirements for this range were:
-To meet the MCA Small Commercial Vessel Code of Practise - Category 4 for 6m, Cat 3 for 7.7m (with option for Cat 2).
-Structural Design to Lloyds Register Special Services Class standards
-Option of construction and specification to meet RCD requirements
-Can be specified to meet the requirements of SOLAS Chapter V - Rescue Boats

6m Aluminium RIB

This design can configured to use either a waterjet or outboard motors for propulsion and the internal layout can be adapted to meet the users requirements. Aft console (for maximum usable deck area) and centre console variations are shown below.
