Ace Marine offers a range of consultancy services which include, but are not limited to:

Core Marine Design & Naval Architecture - We have over time developed a wealth of knowledge and experience in the marine sector, from designing vessels from 10ft to 160ft, to supporting existing vessels with stability work or structural issues.

Hull Modelling - we can convert linesplans or hull measurements into 3D computer models.  We can attend your vessel, capture lines and measurements for creation of drawing packs or modification purposes 

Hull Fairing - we can smooth a hull model to minimise double curvature or to remove double curvature entirely so as to assist fabrication.  We use the latest software backed up by a critical eye to smooth lines to perfection.

Plate Expansion & Kits - from a faired hull model we can produce a kit of parts for vessels being constructed in steel, aluminium or plywood. All parts are marked and labelled to aid assembly.  We have direct links with companies in Europe with whom we have had great success in producing high quality, accurate kits.

Structural Analysis - we can undertake frame analysis to check for stress and deflection in complex structures. We can carry out structural analysis of hulls using Lloyds Register Special Service Class rules.

Powering Predictions - we specialise in the assessment of planing vessel determining speed and resistance and optimising engine configuration.

Stabiliser Consultancy (Fins, Tanks & Rudder-Roll)
After 5 years at the forefront of research and design into various forms of ship stabilisation, we now offer independent advice to ship owners and operators on stabiliser selection, troubleshooting, and performance assessment.
