In 2004 We undertook the detailed design of an office barge for Water of Leith. The aim of this design was to provide an attractive contemporary office environment within the rejuvenated quayside area of Leith, Edinburgh. The design is based upon a traditional wide beam barge format, typical of the Scottish Central Lowland canal system. Through careful structural design maximum use of the interior volume was afforded, giving the finished barge a spacious and modern feel.  We are able to consider other office barge designs or floating venue of any kind, which offers a unique experience to the user. 

The completed ‘La Belle Esperance’ is now operating as an office in Leith harbour
