Ace Marine Ltd. have recently designed, project managed and delivered for fitout a River Ferry for operators ClydeLink, based at the traditional Clyde River ferry crossing at Renfrew and Yoker.  Our River Runner design, Silver Swan, was developed, built and delivered for service in record time and in close collaboration with our partners Unst Inshore Services Ltd, allowing the operators to meet tight deadlines and maintain a comfortable and high quality service.

Principal Dimensions: LOA 9m, Beam 2.9m, Draft 0.4m, Installed Power 140hp, Speed approx. 18kts, 12 passengers

The vessel has been designed in SolidWorks in close collaboration with our clients requirements.  Profiles and plates were cut in Holland and delivered to Shetland for assembly and welding.  The vessel is fully road transportable for ease of logistics.  A slick system of industrial motors and control systems provides an almost silent, extremely smooth bow ramp operation.  Windows are Acrylic and Glass adhesive bonded to keep top weight to a minimum.
